These terms apply when you use qAuto: the qauto command-line tool, the qAuto service it connects to, the account pages, and this website. By creating an account or using qAuto, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
qAuto is run by an individual based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@qauto.ai.
2. Paying through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, sends the receipt, and processes refunds, under Paddle's buyer terms. For help with an order, you can contact us or Paddle at paddle.net.
3. The service
You describe tests for your Android app in plain English. The qauto tool runs them on an Android emulator on your computer. At each step, it sends the test and a screenshot of the app to our service, which uses AI models to decide the next action and, at the end, a verdict. The results, screenshots, and video stay on your computer.
qAuto is in early access. Features, limits, and prices can change, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.
4. Your account and API keys
- You sign in with GitHub. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
- Keep your API keys secret. You're responsible for what happens with your account and keys. If a key leaks, revoke it on your account page and tell us.
- Give us an email address that works, so we can reach you about your account.
5. Plans, credits, and prices
- qAuto is paid for with credits. Each step costs 2 credits, and new accounts get 100 free credits. The plans and their prices are on the pricing page.
- Renewal. A plan renews automatically every month, from the day you subscribe, until you cancel. At each renewal, Paddle charges the plan's price to your payment method, and the plan's monthly credits are added to your account.
- Rollover. Unused credits carry over, up to one month of your plan's credits. At each renewal, before the new month's credits are added, a balance above that amount is reduced to it. All your credits count, including free ones.
- Credits don't otherwise expire. If you cancel, or your plan ends, your credits stay in your account for you to use. They have no cash value, and they can't be moved to another account or resold.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Your plan continues to the end of the month you've paid for, and isn't renewed after that. Cancelling doesn't refund the current month.
- Changing plans. You can switch plans from your account page. The new plan, at its price, applies from your next renewal.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle tries again for up to 30 days, and no credits are added until it goes through. If it never does, your plan is cancelled.
- Steps that fail because of us, and requests the client has to repeat, are not charged.
- We may change the prices or the plans. A change to the price of your plan applies only from a renewal at least 30 days after we tell you by email, so you can cancel before then. No change takes away credits you already have.
- If a payment is refunded or charged back, the credits it added are removed. If some were already used, your balance can go below zero, and new runs are refused until it's above zero again.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
6. Acceptable use
You may only use qAuto:
- on apps you own, or have permission to test;
- with test accounts and test data, not other people's real personal data;
- within the law.
You may not attack, overload, or probe the service; get around its limits or charges; share your API keys with others; or use qAuto to build a competing service from its outputs.
7. Your content
Your tests, your app, and your results stay yours. You let us process them only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes.
8. AI can be wrong
qAuto's actions and verdicts come from AI models. They can be wrong: a test can pass when your app has a bug, or fail when it works. Check what matters before you release, and don't rely on qAuto alone where a mistake could cause harm.
9. No warranty
qAuto is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that it is fit for a particular purpose, or that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
10. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, or a bug that reaches your users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
11. Suspending or closing an account
You can stop using qAuto at any time, and ask us to delete your account by email. Deleting an account cancels its plan, and its remaining credits are lost. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why first.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top. If you keep using qAuto after a change, the new terms apply.
13. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you're a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your country gives you that can't be taken away by agreement.
